Mission
Equip British and allied forces with autonomous systems that are more capable, more deployable and more survivable—and designed for procurement at meaningful scale.
UK defence technology
We build autonomous platforms and perception systems for British forces, NATO allies and partner nations.
Work with us ↗Arondight exists to put capable, deployable autonomous systems into the hands of allied forces at a scale that changes operational outcomes.
Arondight Industries is a British defence technology company designing AI-enabled autonomous aircraft and modular sensor packages. Our work centres on two complementary systems: Basilard, a high-speed transitioning VTOL aircraft, and AR-01, the multimodal perception and inference architecture it carries.
Together they move the most dangerous, time-critical tasks away from personnel, shorten the response cycle and continue operating through communications-denied environments.
Equip British and allied forces with autonomous systems that are more capable, more deployable and more survivable—and designed for procurement at meaningful scale.
A battlefield where autonomous systems handle the most dangerous time-critical missions while personnel remain protected and in command of intent.
We claim what we can demonstrate. Specifications are verified against the current engineering baseline, not presentation ambition.
Every design decision must make the system more useful to personnel operating in a contested environment.
Critical technology and supply-chain decisions prioritise British sovereignty, assurance and long-term reliability.
Human intent establishes the mission. Arondight systems execute only within the boundaries defined before deployment.
We are building a UK-centred technology and supply base for assurance, resilience and export freedom.
Our systems are developed with allied interoperability in mind, creating a credible path into British and NATO operating environments.
Basilard and AR-01 share one principle: intelligence belongs on the platform, not across a vulnerable link.
